Neighbourhood Support Volunteers Honoured


30 June 2023 – New Zealand – To wrap up 'Get Involved' month, we'd like to acknowledge just a few of the amazing NS volunteers who were honoured across the country this month as part of #NationalVolunteerWeek.


To start off, Diane Martin, our Katikati Neighbourhood Support Coordinator, was honoured with a Queen's Service Medal! Truly amazing Di! Well done! Read article.


Next up is Neighbourhood Support Manawatū volunteer, Barbara Wills, who was recognised at the10th Annual Volunteer Recognition Event in Palmerston North. Read article.


Then we have Western Bay of Plenty Neighbourhood Support Chair and Bellevue Street Coordinator, Kathy Webb, who was honoured in Tauranga. Read article.

And lastly our very own CEO, Louise Grevel (who is also a volunteer firefighter), received a #NVW afternoon tea invitation from the Governor General of NZ, alongside four other fabulous NSNZ women: Sue Robertson, Michelle Hohepa, Toni Helleur and Margaret Faed. (Pictured)
