How To Join

Joining is easy! You can either join an existing group or form a new one.

First up, find out if there’s an existing group in your area. To do so, click here to find your closest member organisation and get in touch with the coordinator to find out if your neighbourhood/street already has a group set up.

Joining an Existing Group

If there’s already a group in your area, then the coordinator of your nearest member organisation will provide you with relevant forms and information.

When you join a group, you get to decide what works best for you. You can share as little or as much information as you want, and you can get involved in what ever ways best suit you. Perhaps you just want to receive the newsletter updates – great! Perhaps you want to spearhead a new street beautification project or organise a seed swap – awesome!

Starting a Group

Can’t find a group in your area? You can start one yourself! We are happy to help you approach your neighbours, host a meeting, or post online to see what interest you can generate.

As a possible starting point, you might like to connect with your neighbours using this A5 mailbox flyer (and here's a 'two-per-page' version for printing). Simply add your contact details (this can be done digitally), print it, and pop it in your neighbours' mailboxes to see if they would like to join with you in forming a group.

Once you have a few people interested in forming a group with you, then you can download a 'Neighbourhood Plan' document and return it to us here to register your group.

Alternatively, you can send us a message here, call us on 0800 4NEIGHBOURS (0800 463 444), or email us for more information or support in getting started.
