Our common purpose is to create safe and caring neighbourhoods and communities, reducing the incidences and effects of criminal offending, building community resilience and strengthening community networks to improve the quality of life and enhance wellbeing.

We work closely with the Police, FENZ, Palmerston North Community Patrol, Civil Defence and many other organisations in the community to reduce crime, improve safety and prepare to deal with emergencies and natural disasters.

We promote and support the development of Neighbourhood Support groups throughout the Palmerston North City and areas - from Tokomaru to Linton, Ashhurst and the local rural area.
