Thank you for joining our new Neighbourhood Support discussion board. We're excited to have you!
Here you'll be able to ask questions, share tips and advice with other Members, connect with Coordinators across the country, pitch ideas, discuss current campaigns / projects, and more!
We really want this to be YOUR space to share, learn, inspire, and of course - have fun.
The National Office team will monitor this discussion board as much as possible but ultimately it is up to you, our wonderful Members and boots on the ground, to support and engage with each other to make this online community thrive. Should go without saying, but please help us to keep this a safe and respectful community. If in doubt about whether you should post something or not, you can always check-in with our National Office team first.
Looking forward to watching our Discussion Board grow and blossom. :-) Ngā mihi, Alivia | alivia@neighbourhoodsupport.co.nz Communications Advisor

Welcome to the NS family Charlotte, great to have you on board. All the best.

Kia ora koutou katoa. My name is Charlotte and I'm the coordinator in Marlborough, part of the newly formed Top of the South Neighbourhood Support. Today is my fifth day in the role! Lots to learn!
A great idea - from Rotorua
NS Masterton sits under Connecting Communities Wairarapa, and they, along with NS, have recently joined Be Collective and finding it a great way to manage our volunteers. It's a great monitoring and communication platform and the team at Be Collective, Alex & Lauren are so helpful. Worth taking a look. Here is their link:
https://www.becollective.com/our-story/ . There are some teething issues, as with all new platforms, however, they are very receptive to queries and suggestions. It has been a little challenging for me, but the team have been most prompt and helpful in getting me through them.
Awesome work Alivia. I hope Coordinators take in on board as it's a great way to share stories and projects.
Great idea!!
This is great! Thanks Alivia!
